May 10-14
We will be discussing important aspects of culture like stereotypes and predjudice and will watch the movie, "The Color of Friendship"
May 17-21
After completing the movie "The Color Of Friendship", we will investigate ways in which the lead characters were similar and different. We will also look into the stereotypes surrounding teenagers.
June 1-4
We will begin to learn about the continent of asia and will learn about chinese zodiac symbols and will learn to use chopsticks.
June 7-11
We will be presenting our Asia research projects and will begin learning about Australia.
June 14-18
We will be watching "High School Musical" and will looking into the sterotypes that take place during the movie. We will also be comparing this movie with a typical American school setting.
