Make sure that you are keeping up with your chapter summaries and reactions. We'll have our novel finished by Thanksgiving break, with review and final test after we return.

Study Island is a mandatory weekly assignment. We began this week with an assignment on character, and very few students completed it. Each assignment is worth 10 points toward your homework grade. You get 10 points for completing the assigned topic with a blue ribbon OR showing at least 30 minutes of effort. You get a zero for anything under 30 minutes or not attempting the assignment. This WILL bring your grade down.

If you are having problems logging on, please let me know ASAP so that we can fix them. If you are having difficulty completing this because of computer issues, you can work on it in my room in the morning between 8:00 and 8:30 or after school on most days from 3:30 to 4:00.
