Our focus this trimester will be video/broadcasting.  

As Advanced Tech students, you will be mentoring students in video as well as in the broadcast studio.  You will be expected to complete assignments with the regular tech class, but I do expect quality - not quick delivery.  You will also spend time in the studio with students teaching them how to use the studio equipment.  It is the goal, that students will be using the equipment by the end of the trimester with no help from you at all.  

You may work on some Independent projects, however, these need to be presented to me for approval with timelines and deadlines for completion.

MOUSE squad will be offered to students who express an interest in learning new skills with computers in the areas of problem solving and troubleshooting, hardware and peripherals, working with a help desk, and customer service.  Some of the work for MOUSE squad will be completed in the tech classes, other meetings may occur after school or during the lunch period.  Students will become certified in a variety of areas and will be the core of our student tech support here at Monroe.  

 Fifth, sixth and seventh grade MOUSE squad students are also asked to participate on exhibition day to help with on site technology support.  This is optional.
