About Me.....
I would like to take this time to introduce myself. My name is Steve Rockwell and this is my 12thyear of teaching. I am originally from Maryland but I have lived in Virginia, South Carolina, Florida, and now Georgia.
I am married to my lovely wife Paula and we have two daughters. Sydney is 14 in the eighth grade at LMS and Lara is 7 and in the 2nd grade at LES. The rest of our family consists of four dogs that we have rescued. Their names are: Stockton, Malone, Nash, and Kobe. They are all named after professional basketball players. I am an avid sports fan.
I earned my Bachelor of Science degree at Radford University in Virginia. I then went to the University of South Florida where I earned my Masters degree in Educational Leadership. Two years ago I earned my Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University in Knoxville, Tennessee. Next fall I plan to pursue my doctorate degree at Clemson University.
My five year plan is to continue to teach and to eventually become a school administrator.
