About This Class

This class covers Brake Repair from the basics to giving students an
Introduction to Anti-Lock Systems. Students will have Classroom and
Hands-On Practice which includes simulated brake repairs and live
repairs (as practical). Students can expect a greater % of Hands On
activities in this class, Approximately 70% Shop Activities and 30&
Classroom.

Students will practice replacing brake components on the workbench and machining brake drums & rotors that don't belong to customers cars. Students MUST demonstrate mastery in practice situations before proceeding to a live repair. The goal is to progress to making repairs on customer's vehicles.

If your car is in need of a future Brake Repair, you would have considerable savings by repairing during this class rather than waiting for the brakes to be completely wore out.

There
are a few rules. Only one item per student. Once that item has been
turned in it is null and void for another student to turn in. (ie .a
duplicate)

Beware: There may be a validation question for you
to answer to prove you really did this yourself. The goal is to get you
into a new car dealership. It doesn't cost you any money and feel free
to tell the dealer it's for school.
