Lit Studies: Assignments and Reminders

Welcome to Ms. Rigney's Lit Studies Class!

Independent Reading for the Year: Since students who read more on their own improve the most in reading, I will be encouraging all students to strive for a class reading goal this year. The goal is for each student to read 2 books per month. This means that students will read about 18 books for the year! If a book is more that 300 pages, it also can count as 2 books. I encourage students to read books at their level and enjoy the reading process this year!

Current Assignments:

Due 11/10: AOW on Population and 1 Blog on Independent Reading Book

Due 11/18: Finished Book Project- Student's Choice of Project (see FILES for options/requirements)
