Background: I am originally from Lombard, IL. I come from a family with two parents who also work in educaiton. I also have a younger brother, who just finished college to earn his education degree. I attended St. Francis High School in Wheaton and participated in many activities, including soccer and cross country. I attended college at the University of Dayon in Ohio. I majored in Middle Childhood Education with a focus on Language Arts and Math. During college, I was on the rowing team, club soccer team, retreat team and Student Government.
Currently: This is my third year teaching at HMS and my third year on the B Team! I coach Cheerleading at HMS as well, and this year I also coach Cross Country! During the summer, I teach Math for middle school students at St. Ignatius in Chicago. I love reading, writing and Mathematics. I also still run in my spare time and have completed one marathon and three half marathons!
