How to make Honor Roll and High Honor Roll

For all the students curious about their grades and how to make Honor Roll and High Honor Roll..I hope the following will help!

Each grade you receive in every class (Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, PE, Wellness, Skills Reinforcement Class, and Exploratory Class) is important.  You figure your GPA (Grade Point Average) by assigning a number to each letter grade.

A= 4 pts, B= 3 pts, C=2 pts, D=1 pt, and F=0 pts.

Add up all your points and divide by the total number of classes you have, and you will receive your GPA.  3.0-3.49 is Honor Roll and 3.5-4.0 is High Honor Roll!

EXAMPLE:

Language Arts-D (1 pt.)

Math-A (4 pts.)

Science-B (3 pts.)

Social Studies-A (4 pts.)

PE-A (4 pts.)

Wellness-C (2 pts.)

Skills- C (2 pts.)

Art- D (1 pt.)

Total is 21 pts. divided by 8 classes= 2.63 GPA
