Social Studies-Seminar

Students are learning about how, why, and where people in the U.S. decide to migrate to the places they call home. Students will also look at rural, suburban, and urban areas and their properties.
Students will also take a second look at the Economy in areas of producer and consumer, supply and demand in a market, and how that play a role in the scarcity of an item.
March 2012
Students will be learning about matter, states of matter, and the properties of matter throughout the month of March. We plan to have experiments to assist students in understanding the concepts first hand.
In a continuation from last seminar students will take their final US states and capitals quiz on Friday March 2. This will consist of knowing the Northeast/New England States and the entire US. states and capitals. States must be spelled correctly to receive full credit.
Students are able to retake a quiz by simply emailing me and setting up a day and time.
