Background information
I studied at the Teachers Training College Boland in Wellington for four years, obtaining a Junior Primary Diploma and a Higher Diploma in Education in Pre-Primary. At the University of Stellenbosch I obtained a Furtheral Diploma in Education in Learners with Special Educational Needs (LSEN). I have taught in the UK for three years in both key stages (Reception and Year 3). Back in South Africa I taught at the International School of Cape Town in Hout Bay for two years (Reception and Year 3) and am currently teaching Year 1 at Chesterhouse. I have been heading the Key Stage 1 Department since 2007.
