Our Daily Schedule 2009-2010
Our daily schedule keeps our little ones very engaged and active in their learning. However, since our days are so long and full of fun learning we ask parents to ensure their little ones have a good night rest. We need our children ready to learn during the following schedule:
7:30 am Students may begin entering cafeteria for breakfast.
7:55 Students arrive in classroom
7:55-8:10 Morning activities/announcements
8:10-9:25 Language Arts-Shared Reading/Read Alouds, Shared Interactive Writing, Phonemic Awareness, Phonics/Word Work
9:25-10:05 PE
10:05-11:05 Math
11:05-11:35 Lunch
11:35-12:00 DEAR time & integrated extension
12:00-12:40 Writer's Workshop
12:40-2:10 Integrated Literacy Centers and Guided Reading Interventions
2:10-2:30 Recess
2:30-3:10 Handwriting/Tutorials
2:50-3:15 Integrated Extensions /Science & Social Studies
3:15 pm Car Dismissal
