Tax Credit Information
You can help our school (or any school of your choosing) by making a donation of up to $200 if you're single, and up to $400 as a married couple. Any amount will help: $25, $50... When tax-time rolls around, you will get credit for your donation. So, for most people, it comes out even. For instance, let's say you donate $200. Your Arizona taxes come to $500. Arizona credits you for the $200 donation, so your taxes end up only being $300.

TAG Activities
This year, TAG students will be honing their skills in inquiry, reasoning and logic by studying Philosophy. We will learn about philosophers from Socrates to Descartes to Locke and more, identifying their different theories and types of reasoning and argument.
We will discuss questions that have been debated since the days of ancient history, such as: How do you know you are not dreaming right now? How do you know you really exist? What is the meaning of life? Who are you? Is there a difference between the mind and the brain? What is intelligence?
Students will learn to support their argument, listen another's and present a rebuttal.
This should be a fun year, and I look forward to seeing what the students bring to the table.
