Week of May 21st, 2012
This week will be starting a new math topic: Multiplication. We will learn what is multiplication and start to learn multiplication facts.
Vocab: multiply, product
Please practice your math facts (facts are in the back of your child's agenda). We will be doing timed math facts tests every month. You can ask your child addition and subtraction facts in the car, while eating your dinner and even before bed. Knowing math facts is the foundation for learning math. Your child will be expectated to do 50 math facts in 5 minutes. (addition and subtraction)
