Merced National Wildlife Refuge tour

November 19th:  8:00 a.m. until 10:00

We will have a guided tour of the refuge by Jean Okuye, President of the Valley Land Alliance and long-time birder.   Check out their website for more info on the Wildlife Refuge:  http://www.fws. gov/sanluis/ merced_info. htm

Please bring:  binoculars, bird field guide (if you have one), camera, clothes that can get dirty, comfortable shoes for hiking, insect repellant, umbrella if it looks like rain, and lunch or snacks if you decide you want to stay longer than 10:00.  Thousands of Sandhill Cranes will be waiting for you, so hope you can come!

Monterey Bay Aquarium

Monday, December 15th:  10:00-6:00

Cost is FREE!

This is a Homeschool Day at the Aquarium and is free of charge for students pre-K to 12th grade, and one adult per child gets in free too!  More information will be posted in November.  You are encouraged to check out the educational materials available now on the aquarium website under the Teacher tab: www.montereybayaquarium.org.
