T-shirt money is due January 9th.
Practices are every Friday from 2:30 - 3:30. If there is no school on Friday, then practice will be Thursday.
The regional competition is February 18, 2012 at Rock Valley College.

WMS will be starting a math club that is open to all 7th and 8th graders. Our first meeting will be after school on Friday, September 2nd. The purpose of the club is to do the following:
- Improve critical and logical thinking
- Learn math that is not taught in the classroom
- Improve teamwork skills
- Challenge students
We will be meeting every Friday* from 2:30 to 3:30 in Mrs. Hatfield’s classroom. Attendance is strongly encouraged if you are considering trying out for the math team. Please see Mrs. Hatfield or her homework page if you have any questions.
* We will meet on Thursdays when we are off on Fridays.
Start practicing now! Go to mathcounts.org and try the problems of the week or the problems from past competitions. The problems on the Mathcounts website are challenging and fun. They give you the opportunity to learn math concepts that are not taught in our books.
