BOOST stands for Building On Our Strengths Together. In the BOOST program, we provide support to those students that need a little extra help in the regular classroom in Reading and Language Arts. We work in small groups with the students and many times, one on one. This small group instruction allows the student to gain a better understanding of what skill he/she is working on.

 We also have mentors that volunteer, usually 30 minutes once a week. The mentors work with the student on a specific skill during that time. It is already set up for them when they come, so all they have to do is just show up and work with the student on the given assignment. We try to keep it so the mentor has the same student each time; therefore, they begin to build a student/mentor relationship.  If you are interested in being a mentor, please check to see what times are available and email me.
