A few things to get the year started ...
Classroom Rules
1. Follow all directions.
2. No eating, drinking, or chewing gum.
3. Be seated and working when the bell sounds.
4. Always be respectful to others.
Grading and Assignment Policies
Grades are determined by a points system.
Ex. Homework 10 points, Bellwork 10 points, tests 100 points, classwork 50 points
Grading Scale:
A 100-93 B 92-85 C 84-75 D 74-70 F below 70
- All assignments should have the students name, date and page number on the top of the paper.
- Partial credit will be given on all assignments. A grade of zero will be given for any assignment not attempted.
- Homework will be assigned two to three times weekly. Homework should be completed before the next class meeting and students should have any questions ready when class begins. Homework will be graded for completion.
- All assignments will be recorded in the agenda book, which will be brought to class daily.
- Tests or Quizzes will be given weekly depending in the material covered.
- Tests will only be rescheduled if you miss a day of new material, not review material.
- If a student is absent, the student will have as many days as they were absent to make up academic work.
