Sign up  through the website at mafinfo@melbournearts.org and let us know in what area they want to volunteer.  The areas we need the most help with are: coke/water sales, statistics, and KidsWorld area committees.

Coke/water sales is just what it is; selling sodas/water to visitors at the festival.

Statistics is riding the 'Park & Ride' buses and welcoming the visitors and asking them to complete a survey and collecting them before the next stop.

KidsWorld is a plethora of activity and art combined; lots of children and art related (Eco- friendly) activities in a fun festival atmosphere.

Shifts are 3 to 4 hours

April 27 (Tuesday) Blood Drive at MCC. Copies of the sign-up sheet will be posted on the bulletin board so you will know when to be where.  We could still use a few people on that day to fill in the block periods.

Seniors should submit service hour sheets to an officer or Mrs. Patterson by Friday, April 23rd to be sure you are on track.  Dues should have already been paid if you plan to wear a gold cord at graduation! You will also have to submit any remaining service hours before senior exams begin on May 10, 2010 to be eligible to wear your cord.

Relay for Life is another volunteer opportunity coming in early May.

  Kudos for all of you:

Wonderful participation in the election of new officers.  I was very pleased by the initiative shown by so many members!

The Senior Citizen dance was a great success!  The gym looked wonderful, and the guests had a great time!

Chelsea Mason and Colin Kennedy with Michelle Dalton, et. al.,  did a great job delivering bagels and markers to all the faculty for Catholic Schools week!

We completed 1388.7 hours of service fall semester!

We collected 251 cans of food for the Sharing Center!

We collected over 100 toys for the Children's Home Society!
