CAP Due Dates
Due Dates for 2011-2012
October 5, 2011 CAP Project idea, including social justice issue and community service organization submitted to religion teacher. Religion teachers will post this information on Excel spreadsheet on school server for social studies and English teachers.
November 29, 2011 Economics/Government research slide assignment due
December 6, 2011 Submit 15 community service hours in time log to religion teacher.
March 1, 2012 Service Project Verification sheets (time-log of remaining 10 hours) due to Religion teachers. Seniors must turn in permission slips (available from Mrs. Patterson) signed by the parents of any children/students who are under 18 who appear in the pictures to be used for CAP project presentations.
March 6, 2012 Service reflections due to Religion teachers.
March 14, 2012 Submit community service information data (name of community service organization, social justice issue, and volunteer activity with contact information and a logo for the organization) to MCCCAP@yahoo.com to create CAP program booklet in Yearbook class.
March 15, 2012 PowerPoint handout due to English teachers.
March 20, 2012 CAP projects display boards due to English teachers. Classroom presentations begin.
March 28, 2012 Presentations of CAP projects to community in Gym 1-3:00 pm.( If feasible, presentation that evening to parents.)
PowerPoint Guidelines
Use this template to complete your PowerPoint. You must print out a handout sheet to submit to your English teacher the day the reports and backboards are due in English class. The CAP PowerPoint MUST include a graph or chart on some element of your project.
