1st quarter ends October 31, 2008
Last updated October 16th, 2008 at 12:06 p.m.. Hi parents, students, and guardians,
The first quarter of the year is quickly coming to an end! Oct 31st, the grades are done with! Students still have time to get work in and crunch studying time. They have plenty of oppurtunities to get their grades up, if the effort is made. There is time before and after school.
For health students, remember it is only 1 semester long, so if you did not perform as well as as you would have liked, you have another quarter to bring up your average. Also, you have your health final which is worth 20% of your overall grade. Remember health is a graduation requirement and if you do not get over a 65% you will have to retake the class until you pass.
For freshman seminar students, this is a pass or fail class, so it does not affect you GPA however, you must pass the class or you will have to retake this class as a sophomore. We have some in the process and they are not liking it very much! Also, this class is a year long every other day. Love having in the high school your class is awesome! keep up the good work!
