CourseDescription: The JHS reading workshop class meets every Tuesday and Thursday morning to provide in-school reading time while the student participates in the Literature Workshop class. Students will use this time to read their literature class novel and self-selected books.
FocusSkills: Working Independently. Management of Time and Materials to Accomplish Goals.
Materials:Students must bring a book to read.
Spiritof the Classroom: Do your best work and be your best self. Treat others respectfully and with kindness. Remain seated, stay focused and read your book,and keep the room quiet so everyone can read and concentrate. Neither eating nor drinking is permitted during class.
