Written & Illustrated By...
This is a very specific program, developed by author David Melton, in which students write, illustrate, publish, and present an original 16-page book. They learn to access the creative side of their brain, and to shut off the "internal editor" until the story has been written and editing is needed. Members of the class serve as art editors and professional editors to one another. As a cumlminating event, student authors and illustrators will share their books with the class,their parents, and other invited guests.
