Seventh Grade
The seventh graders studied plants and the process of photosynthesis the first six weeks. That is being followed up with the energy flows that occur in nature that began with the plants making their on food (or energy).
Topics to discuss with your kids are food chains, food webs, energy pyramids and energy flows. Ask them about producers, consumers, decomposers and scavengers.
