Biography
I am Lisha Rushing, a dedicated teacher at 28th Street Elementary. I love teaching and I enjoy planting the seed to help our children grow daily. Just like a seed, children must have the right condition inorder to blossom into a beautiful flower.
In my professional career, I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor degree in Education and later received my Master's in Elementary Education.
I have been employed with Gulfport School District since August of 1992. I have taught at Centeral Middle School, Gaston Point Elementary, and presently employed at Twenty-Eighth Street.
I love children! I would not have choose any other career. My goal and desire is to help children develop into productive members of society, so that one day they will be writing this biography.
