1. Each day, report to class on time, ready to work and begin on the daily question as soon as you get to class.
2. Remember to come prepared, bring your text, journal, pencils, red pen, calculator, homework and any other materials to class.
3. Pay attention in class; ask questions when you don't understand something. Chances are someone else in the class has the same question.
4. Work Hard! Everyone can learn math! Finish your classwork and homework.
5. Show all work! Communicating your thoughts, ideas and processes is half the battle to solving problems.
6. Work cooperatively with other students in groups. Share your ideas and be willing to listen to the ideas of others.
7. Try various strategies in solving problems.
8. Remember that solving complicated, multi-step problems takes time. Be persistent!
9. Follow the classroom rules and procedures.
10. Behave properly and with respect to the fellow people in the room.
11. Recognize the importance of math in your life.
