We will have a test on Friday about the poems and stories that E.A. Poe wrote. The students have been reading these all month. It is a "what happened" test for students in the second rotation. In the first and third groups it is that, and applying literary devices, and narration.

The Scarlet room-the black(red) death
bell/clock-reminder of what's happening outside the abbey, warning of death, fear
the red death/scary masked figure-grim reaper, death, black death, the devil
tripods that shone the light on the rooms-trinity (three/tri), God, eternal salvation, life with God
