Welcome to a new shcool year! I am looking forward to meeting each of you!
A little bit about myself and how I ended up at Lial... I grew up in the Cleveland area and went to John Carroll University for my undergraduate degree. I then moved to Baltimore where I taught for two years while working on my Master's Degree as part of a Catholic service teaching program. So what brought me to Lial?? My fiance is in medical school at the University of Toledo and we will be married in January which is how I ended up in Toledo. I could not be more excited about becoming part of the Lial family!
In my free time I enjoy baking, cooking, hiking, biking, reading (not too surprising for the TL teacher, right?), traveling, taking time to grow in my faith and of course spending time with my fiance and my family. A few random fun facts about me-- I have double jointed elbows and I lived in Rome for 5 months as part of a study abroad program. I look forward to getting to know each of you and I am hopeful that this year will be a blessed year for you!
p.s. I hope you have your summer reading assignment completed! We are going to jump right into discussions so come prepared on the first day of school with your assignment!
October Baby

Here is a wonderful opportunity to show your support for the Pro-Life stance. Westfield-Franklin Park Theaters is showing October Baby on April 13th, 14th, and 15th. This of course is our Easter Break. We highly encourage as many of you as possible to go see the movie. Check it out with the information provided below. This is a great opportunity to show our appreciation for pro-life-centered films. If theater has a great turn out for the show, it will encourage them to bring other Christ-centered films to our area! What a wonderful Easter celebration!
If you attend, and you wish to share your thoughts on the movie-- a journal reflection, a poem... you will receive extra credit in religion.

"October Baby" premiers in select theaters on Friday, March 23. The Erwin brothers have created this movie for us, delivering a powerful message of life that will become a tool we can use to witness for the cause of life. It's now in theaters and the rest is up to us.
WASHINGTON, DC (Catholic Online) - Andy and Jon Erwin's new feature "October Baby," a coming-of-age story about an abortion survivor, premiers in select movie theaters on Friday, March 23. It's been quite a while since a faith-based film has generated as much excitement and enthusiasm as this one - and rightly so. "October Baby" is a must-see movie.
