Above is the link to the project sheet for concluding the reading of Maniac Magee. We will use class time to work on these though the children may ask for some materials from home depending on the project and how your child may want to complete it. All projects are due November 3rd.

Friday, May 18, we have a number of activities which come to completion. From this point, we will share what we have done. This includes the book scrapbooks from our reading groups, our D.A.R.E. essays, and our Storyworks calendar assignments. For the scrapbooks, we will share in class on 5/18, and then as an Intermediate on 5/22. Hopefully some summer reading seeds will be planted by seeing the variety of books other students have read and worked with!
Friday, 5/18, we will hear from our Toledo-Lucas Cty. Public Library representative. Again, planting seeds of interest for summer reading!
Grammar packs will be scored and collected 5/18! We will do something different with them. The packets are unfinished, with 12 exercises (for most students) remaining. These will be sent in the white envelope next week as a possible bit of summer grammar enrichment. Should help...couldn't hurt!
