We are finishing up the year strong! Please continue to read at home nightly. We have two more spelling tests, so continue work in spelling journal! We've had a great year, let's finish it with a bang!

For reading tips see files; Reading Tips for Parents. This will give you tips to help at home. Remember to continue reading nightly for at least 30 minutes.
Spelling tests will be graded and returned to students on Wednesdays. EKA grade scale is as follows;
90-100% = 4 89-80% = 3 79-70% =2 69% or under = 1
All information regarding Ms. Hall’s Reading class can be found on this website. This includes stories being read, test dates and spelling words.
Spelling tests will be every Tuesday.
Spelling homework will be completed weekly in the student's take home spelling journal. Students must pick 3 activities from the instruction in the journal and complete them, journals due the following Tuesday.
Each week a story will be read and activities on the story will be completed in class. Students will have a reading comprehension test on the story on Fridays.
