This week ask your child about:

Spelliing- Unit 35

Reading- We are writing short stories. We are also working on becoming fluent readers. 

Each student has selected a book that must be read by May 9. Each child has a reading log that should be signed daily by an adult  after reading 30 mins.  Students should then write a reflection in their reading journal.  

Language-Pronouns

Writing- Students are writing a short story with emphasis on story elements, vivid words, and visualization. 

Math- We are reviewing multiplication and long hand division.  We are exploring fractions, ratios, and percents without using a calculator.

Science- Physical Science

Social Studies- United States Government
