Journalism Objectives
This week in Journalism we will:
Monday: Groups will continue to work on computers to complete spread construction and addition of photographs to the sever. Editors will begin edit of next edition of school newspaper from last week articles.
Tuesday: Groups will continue to work on computers to complete spread construction and addition of photographs to the sever. Editors will begin edit of next edition of school newspaper from last week articles.
Wednesday: Groups begin planning of fund raising to supplement cost of yearbook to students. Editors continue edit of newspaper (rough copy due for proof-reading)
Thursday: Group assignments made for fundraiser, roster of ticket/newspaper salespersons due. Proof-read copy edit for print.
Friday: Groups will continue to work on computers to complete spread construction and addition of photographs to the sever. Students have two articles of current events due next Friday.
Students will be assessed on the successful completion of above tasks. Group work will be assessed individually through weekly participation checklists. Successful completion of short term goals leads to the overall success of the yearbook and school newspaper. Bi-weekly current event articles must be in digital format (via email or flash drive).
