F.A.I.R. testing and ECHOS testing ends at the end of September, 2011. The
test includes vocabulary, letter
names, sounds of letters, listening
comprehension, pulling apart
and putting together the sounds in
words (sounding words out) etc.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CHILD SENDS A PENCIL, SCISSORS, CRAYONS, GLUE, BABY WIPES, A PENCIL SHARPENER, SOME PAPER, OLD SHIRT OR PAINTING SMOCK, A CHANGE OF CLOTHING IN A ZIPLOCK BAG, A SWEATSHIRT OR SWEATER, AND A BLUE FOLDER IN A BOOKBAG, ALL LABELED WITH YOUR NAME.

YOU SHOULD BE ABLE to put your shoes and clothes on by yourself, write your name, cut with scissors, and write and say all the letters of the alphabet.
Your child will receive an interim progress report and a final report card for each quarter of the school year. Grades are E= Excellent, G=Good, S=Satisfactory, M= Minimal work, U=Unsatisfactory work. Please make sure that you contact your child's teacher to arrange a conference each quarter. Teachers are available most days between 2:05 and 3:10 PM at (305) 354-2600.
