ME!!!
Hi,
My name is Kimberly Smith. I have asked the students to call me Mrs. Smith or Mrs. Kim. I will teach your child math or reading this year. I have taught for 22 years now and plan to teach a few more.
I have taught kindergarten, 5th, middle school, high school and special education at the middle school level. I enjoy teaching and the "challenges" and "adventures" which are encountered each day.
I have 2 children of my own. Katie is a sophomore at BHS and involved in band, etc. Brandon is a 7th grader at BMS and also involved in band, etc. My husband David and I have been married for 17 years and plan quite a few more together. We also have a small dog, Honey, who thinks she runs the house. 
I accomplished one of my life dreams last year. I had a children's book published. You can see it in major book stores /websites- look for Tubby Visits the Park by Kimberly Smith. You can also visit Tate Publishing Website for this also. I am very pleased and am currently working on another one.
I have many plans for this year, the most important is helping your child grow and learn the skills necessary for 7th grade. I want you to feel free to email and for us to work together as a team to accomplish what is best for your child.
Thank you so much for allowing me to have your child for a portion of the day. I will be careful with them and watch out for them as if they were my own.
