My Bio
Welcome to the Wonderful World of Language Arts!
I am so excited to be at Loganville Middle School, and I look forward to teaching your child! This is my third year at Loganville Middle School , but this is my 13th year teaching. My teaching career began in Memphis, Tennessee, where I am a native. There, I was a Reading Specialist in an alternative setting. A few years later, I began teaching Language Arts in a regular classroom setting. I moved to Georgia in 2001 and began teaching in Gwinnett County at McConnell Middle School. I taught in Gwinnett for six years. I was very excited when I received an opportunity to teach here at Loganville Middle.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology, and a Bachelor of Science in Education. I have a Master of Arts in Instruction and Curriculum and Educational Leadership. I also have an Education Specialist degree in Education.
I am married, and I have two wonderful children, a son who is fourteen and a step-daughter who is thirteen.
