Tuesday, May 22nd is Hamburger Day!

Also on Tuesday, May 22nd we have the Awards Assembly at 12:45 in the Church. You are welcome to join us.

On Friday, May 25th we have a Noon Dismissal!

School is closed on Monday, May 28th for Memorial Day. Classes resume on Tuesday, May 29th.

Remember you are always WELCOME to join us at our 8:15 a.m liturgies on Thursdays.

Please remember to label ALL of your children's clothing and items. It makes it much easier to find the misplaced sweatshirt, lunchbox, folder, etc.

If your child has a change in dismissal please send in a note. If they attend daycare, make them aware of the change as well.

Please remember that Band is every Tuesday. Please send your child in with their instruments. This will begin in October.

A Social Studies Final Exam for Grades 7 is scheduled for Monday, May 21st.

A Math Final Exam for my groups in Grades 6 and 7 is scheduled for Wednesday, May 23rd.

My name is Katherine Diggs and I have been teaching at St. Joseph's School for 21 years. I have taught grades 1, 2, and 4. I was at another Catholic school for 11 years and taught grades  2, 3, and 4. Teaching in the Middle School is a new challenge for me . I am very excited!

I love dogs and chocolate! I have  two miniature schnauzers. Dunkin is six and his brother Maxwell is four.  I enjoy reading scary books and mysteries. I also enjoy spending time at the beach, going to concerts, and SHOPPING!

I love teaching. It has been very rewarding to me. Meeting students that I have taught and seeing how they have grown and changed is amazing. I'm very pleased if they remember me and have a fun story to tell of their time in my classroom. I have had many memorable students and teaching experiences. I'm looking forward to a terrific 2011-2012 school year!
