This week we will not be starting a new letter.   We will be reviewing all the letters up to this point.  Also, we will be practicing sounding out simple words and blends.  Please practice the sounds and letters and sounding out with your students.

 Reading:  Our reading story is Little Quack.  We will be main idea and plot with our story. 

Theme:   Our "theme" this week is Thanksgiving.  Both days we will be doing different Thanksgiving activites.  We will be discussing Native Americans, their impact on Thanksgiving, making Native American head bands and vests, and we will be having our own "feast" on Tuesday.

Math:  We will review length and graphs this week.

Reading Groups:  We won't be having reading groups or phonics groups this week..

Sight Words:   We are practicing these at school as well.  I can tell that you are helping them at home!  Keep it up!   If you feel that your student has fully learned them and can read them consistantly, let me know and we will continue with more words!  I will be sending home new lists!
