Students will use a composition book to keep all of their notes. In essence, this will be there Science textbook!
Pages should never be torn out or removed from the science notebook.
The students will also have a science folder to come home on Tuesday. This will contain notes, letters, and graded papers.
Notebooks are vital: they teach organization, help students to study, and allow parents (and students) to keep track of grades.
Homework...
Homework is a time for extra practice on the skills previously taught. This helps them to cement today's lesson into their brain as permanent knowledge.
Homework will count as 10 % of their grade.
Last but not least, homework helps the students to study.
