Dear Parents and Caregivers, and Family members,

MCT is just around the corner! During the second week of May our students will make all of us proud. Everything that has been taught and learned during the past thirty-five school weeks will be put to use. Be proud of your children, they have all worked very hard this past year. Show them how proud you are of their efforts. Encourage them to do their best and emphasize the importance of getting a good education.

Please help us help your children by asking them about what they have learned this year. If a child can explain to you the plot or conflict in this weeks reading lesson then they know what has been taught. Success in life depends on being able to understand what you read. Some student’s are still not reading their AR book as they should or completing A Math assignments.

I know that life is stressful and busy, but please encourage your child to read, or let them read to you. Don’t forget to look through your child’s Red Folders and sign them on Wednesdays.
