Highly Qualified Teacher: The No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 requires that all teachers in core academic subjects must be highly qualified in the areas of teaching assignments.. Teachers are considered to be highly qualified if they 1) have a bachelor’s degree; 2) have a full State certification; and 3) have demonstrated subject-matter competence in the area(s) taught.
Mr. Wright Is "Highly Qualified"
Mr. Wright has his B.A. from Florida Southern College in the field of elementary education. He has his K-6 teaching certificate within the state of Florida and is also ESOL endorsed. He has received his Technology I and II certifications and is currently one of the technology coaches at Kathleen, additionally, Mr. Wright is trained and certified to supervise college interns. He currently is pursuing his masters degree from Capella University within the field of Educational Administration Leadership. Mr. Wright has experience teaching in pre-k, first, second, third, fourth, and fifth grade.
