Unit 9: Chemistry

 This final unit is huge:  Chapters 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 (some of which is review); we will be breaking it up with quizzes, homework, and including the usual labs, activities, etc.

The unit test will be the final exam on June 4th and 5th.  More about this later.

The unit notebook will be due on June 5th.

Unit notebook format

Title page:  should include the title of the unit, your name, and a drawing/picture or graphic that relates to the unit.

Table of contents:  this is a running list, located on the front board (and also on this website) of every page and assignment that is included in the unit.

Science words:  this is written on the board and serves both as a daily warmup and as a review of general science vocabulary.

Video page:  most units are introduced with some type of video; information is collected during the video using various formats.

Unit vocabulary:  usually done as word/definition, but may also include various formats like personal clues, matching, etc.

The rest of the pages:  these include work book pages, notes, labs, graded homework, drawings; in short, everything else in the unit, with a page number at the top, in order, and completely finished.
