DISCIPLINE PLAN- Mrs. Diaz Second Grade
I am pleased to have your child in my class this year. 
To guarantee your child and all the students in my classroom 
the excellent educational climate they deserve, we will observe
the following rules, rewards, and consequences in the classroom.
Our Class Rules
  1. Follow Directions.
  2. Stay in your seat.
  3. Raise your hand to be recognized.
  4. Keep your hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
  5. Use soft voices
Group Rules
  1. Ask 3 Before you ask me.
  2. Everyone’s idea counts.  Be polite and share with others.
Rewards:
  1. Students will receive tickets used to buy treats at the end of the week
  2. Praises
  3. Small daily rewards
Consequences:
  1. Verbal Warning
  2. Change of color : Conduct grade change
  3. Time out or isolation from a class activity
  4. Parent Contact
Severe Disruption: (hitting, kicking, threatening, continuous negative behavior)
  1. Daily Progress Report
  2. Parent Conference
  3. Refer to Administration: Student Case management form will be filled out
  4. Administration/Parent/Teacher Conference
 
Hallway Conduct
  1. Line up quietly in a straight line.
  2. Pass to and from classes QUIETLY
 
Cafeteria Conduct
1.   Enter and Exit quietly with no talking or running.                                                        
2.   Be polite and courteous to the cafeteria workers and lunch monitors.         
3.   Be sure your table and area is picked up and clean before you leave.      
4.   Use soft voices when talking to ONLY those in your table.
Bathroom and Water Conduct
1.   Use the bathroom QUICKLY and QUIETLY.                                                        
2.   Flush the toilet and wash your hands.
Care of Property
1.   Keep your desk organized.                                                                                
2.   Pick up after yourself                                                                                                       
3.   You must respect other’s property.
Assignments
1.   Read 30 minutes daily              
2.   Complete and turn in your homework DAILY    
3.   Write your name, assignment title, subject, and date on your paper.
