White Oak is participating in the Six Flags Six Hour Reading Club as part of the Read to Succeed program.  Your child can earn a free 6 Flags ticket.  Every student who completes six hours of recreational reading and turns in their sheet by Tuesday, February 26, will be eligible to earn a ticket.  Students can read books, magazines, comic books, or newspapers.  They can read silently, aloud, or with an adult.  You can read to your child, or your child can read to you.  I will be posting the names of all students who have earned tickets on special roller coaster cars outside the front office.  I hope I will be able to add your child's name to one.
