Biography
My name is Jessica Wilks. This is my first year teaching 7th grade science at Central Middle. The year has gotten off to a great start and I can't wait to see what's in store for the rest of the year! I graduated from Mississippi College in Clinton, MS with a degree in Biological Medical Sciences. I also attended Gulfport High School. My family moved to the coast when I was 6 so I consider Gulfport my home. I love animals and have several: a German Pointer (Molly), 2 cats (Jo Jo and Gizmo), 2 rats (Cobalt and Helix), a rabbit (Jolie lapin), a fish (Romeo), and 2 firebelly toads (students have not named them yet!). I also help out with the Gulfport High girls' soccer team and the middle school girls' team. I've played since I was 4, so soccer has always been a big part of my life.
