Meet Mrs. Daughdrill
ALL ABOUT ME:
Hello!! My name is Julie Daughdrill. This is my first year at Central Elementary but I have been teaching for the Gulfport School District for 18 years.
I received my BA in Education from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL and my Master's of Education Degree from William Carey College.
I am the proud grandmother of 9 grandchildren, 6 boys and 3 girls. Their names are Gage, Conner, Batton, Kimmer, Sydney, Kip, Tatum, Asa, and Emri. They live all across the country from San Diego, CA to Atlanta, GA. My "hobby" is traveling to see them every chance I get.
TO MY STUDENTS:
I am so excited about this year. We are going to do so
much learning and have so much fun while we do it! I can’t wait to get
to know and work with each of you. Let’s have the best year ever!
To the Parents of my Students:
I know
that I have the greatest responsibility in the world...to provide a safe
and loving environment and to help your children blossom into life-long
learners and productive members of society. I do not take this
responsibility lightly. I truly believe in challenging and
encouraging every student to be the best that he/she can be. As a team,
you and I can help your child achieve goals that we set in our
classroom this year.
Drop by and visit my classroom anytime. You will find us actively engaged in a variety of learning experiences. It is my desire to make third grade an exciting educational experience for the children that I teach.
