Level I/J by mid-year
Level J/K Quarter 3
Level L by end of year
(May 21st for Tier I students, June 4th for TierII students, and July 2nd for Tier III students)
Easy Vocabulary Tricks...
* Have a conversation with your child (Ask your child about their day).
* Read with your child.
* Keep track of any unknown words (Start a vocabulary journal).
* Play " I Spy" with your child. Example, I spy something tall with lots of windows...a skyscraper)
* Play board games. Schedule a family games night and have your child read and explain the directions.
