Course
description: Spanish II
will further develop the basics of grammar, build vocabulary in the context of
everyday events, and expand cultural knowledge of the Spanish-speaking world. Under
the main theme “Mi infancia,” the students will talk about their childhood,
exchange their experiences, anecdotes, and favorites episodes.
We will cover chapters 10 and 13 from the textbook Ya verás.
Cultural
Aspect: The class will watch “Diarios de motocicleta,” based on Che
Guevara’s life and the Spanish movie Los
secretos
Regarding
grammar: We will learn the specific use of the Imperfect versus the
Preterit.
Books: ¡Ya verás! Segundo nivel. Some other
sources: Easy Readers, movies, and music.
