We Won!!
Dollar General Youth Literacy Grants provide funding to schools and local nonprofit organizations to help with the implementation or expansion of literacy programs for new readers, below grade level readers, and readers with learning disabilities. I am proud to announce that Harris Accelerated Elementary School has received one of these grants!! We will be using it to purchase additional Content Area Leveled Readers as well as Fountas and Pinnell's Leveled Literacy Intervention Kit for Kindergarten students who are in need of extra support in the area of reading!
