Mrs. Jolene Sosnowski

GENERAL REMINDERS:

  • Here is the link to the STAND training video and the other paperworkhttp://www.archbalt.org/about-us/child-youth-protection/training/
  • Did you know you can now report your child absent electronically?!  Go to www.stjoeschool.org  Click on the link to report your child absent.  This informs the nurse and school office if your child is going to be absent.  However, it does not inform me, so you may want to send me an email also.
  • Volunteer Appreciation Mass is Thursday, May 17th at 8:15.  Please have your child here by 7:55 because we will need to head over to church early.  Readers must be here by 7:50!  We have planned this mass.  All readings will be read by Kindergarteners.  Those children have been practicing for almost two weeks.  All of the kindergarten children will sing a song in the front of the church at the end of mass.  All parents are invited to attend.
  • We have exhausted our supply of paper towels.  If each child could donate one more roll to get us through the school year that would be great!
  • Please make sure your child has a jacket or sweatshirt when the temperature is below 55 degrees IN THE MORNING BEFORE SCHOOL.  Even when the forecasted high temperature is above 60 degrees, it is still chilly when we go to recess at 11:15.
  • Children must still wear sweatshirts on PE day. It is chilly in their in the morning when they have Phys Ed.  The children may wear their I Love Kindergarten t-shirts for PE day for the rest of the year.
  •  Please make sure you check your child's folder every night and take out all of the papers, especially Friday.  Many folders have been coming back full of papers.  Also, please keep track of papers that need to be returned.
  •   You can subscribe to my website.  If you sign up, you will be sent an email each time I update the website.  It will contain a direct link to my website.  Look at the top right hand corner of my website and click to sign up!
  • Please put your child's name on his/her snack bag everyday.  We have many children bringing brown bags with no name and they get mixed up!

  • Please pull up to the curb out front and drop your children off in the drop off zone in the morning.  You should not park behind the church and walk your child in unless you are coming to stay for a volunteer job.

  • Please remember that the first spot along the curb is for the HOT SPOT WINNER!  Do not park in this spot!  Thank You.

  • Please remember to check this site every week on Monday!
  • Click on the Calendar tab to see weekly events!
  •  WHEN YOU PARK IN THE KINDERGARTEN ONLY LANE FOR PICK UP, YOU MUST LEAVE IMMEDIATELY!  YOU DO NOT HAVE TIME TO TALK ONCE THE CHILDREN HAVE BEEN DISMISSED!
  • Please put names on everything including sweatshirts, sweaters, and jackets!

Email me and let me know what you think of the website.  Let me know if there are other things you would like me to add onto my site. Thanks!
