*The PR/HYLI Application deadline is 1/15/09*Local General Training: In January 2009 and February 2009, 2 full-day sessions for all students nominated by their districts (up to 3 per district) will be held either at SUNY New Paltz or at Ulster County BOCES in New Paltz. These sessions will be scheduled during the regular school day.
Delegate Sessions: In March 2009, 12 delegates and 4 alternates will attend 3 additional sessions in the mid-Hudson area: 1 school-day, 1 after-school and 1 Saturday session.
Statewide Conference and Mock Assembly: From April 4-6, 2009 the final 12 delegates will attend a 3-day conference (Sat.–Mon.) in Albany. The conference will be scheduled to coincide with the 2009 SOMOS EL FUTURO conference sponsored by the New York State Assembly and Senate Puerto Rican/Hispanic Task Forces.

Session 1: Wednesday, January 14, 2009, 8:30 AM to 2 PM at The Terrace at SUNY New Paltz. (Snow Date: Wed., 1/21/09 at the Ulster BOCES Conference Center in New Paltz) Registration Deadline: Wed., 1/7/09. Tuesday, February 24, 2009, 8:30 AM to 2 PM at the Ulster BOCES Conference Center in New Paltz (Snow Date: Wed., 2/25/09 in the same location)
