Meet Mrs. Blount
Hello! I am Jo Ann Blount. I have taught kindergarten at Bayou View Elementary for the past 20 years. I hope to inspire each of my young students to become problem solvers, lifelong learners, and productive members of society. I also encourage my students' families to be an active part of our kindergarten year.
My educational background includes: National Board Certification in Early Childhood, Master of Education in Elementary Education from William Carey University, and Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Mississippi State University.
